Night Asphalt Paving & Compaction on a Main Road
Machine laying and sequential compaction of hot-mix asphalt courses on a main city road, in night shifts under approved traffic diversion plans.

Paving was carried out at night to limit the impact of the closure and avoid disrupting commercial activity and traffic on the main road. The site plan included checking mix temperatures on arrival and compacting directly behind the paver with the design number of passes. The project’s stamped photos were taken on 14 June 2026 and carry coordinates and verified field records.
Scope of work
- Cleaning and preparing the surface and forming the longitudinal and transverse tie-in joints.
- Coordinating hot-mix supply by dump truck straight into the paver hopper without stopping.
- Laying asphalt with an advanced mechanical paver, controlling the design thicknesses and falls.
- Breakdown, intermediate and finish rolling with vibratory steel rollers and pneumatic rollers for a fully sealed surface.
- Managing night traffic diversions and securing the work zone with reflective cones, illuminated signs and lighting towers.
